Bellin Health Fitness Center

Beyer Home Museum & Carriage House
917 Park Ave, Oconto, WIThe buildings and grounds are open for guided tours Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, noon to 4:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed on Tuesday. Group tours are available by appointment. Contact the Museum at 920-834-6206 to schedule a group tour. Research by appointment only May 1 – October 15.

City Park Beach
5182 County Hwy N, Oconto, WIA hidden gem, City Park is a 24-acre park located on the shore of Green Bay with 700 feet of water frontage. This park is great for taking in Oconto’s beauty. It offers restrooms, two large pavilions great for picnics, special events, parties or reunions. You’ll find playground equipment, horseshoe pits, two sand volleyball courts, fire pits, and nine newly constructed campsites for first come first serve campers. Enjoy a peaceful day on the sandy beach or take a splash in the bay.
Copper Culture State Park
260 Copper Culture Way, Oconto, WICopper Culture State Park is a 45-acre park located on the north bank of the Oconto River filled with a great amount of history. A monument erected by the State Historical Society and the Oconto County Historical Society in 1952, this park contains a 7,500-year-old burial site. At one time this was considered to be the earliest evidence of human settlement in North America east of the Mississippi River. You’ll find a pavilion, picnic areas, fishing areas and walking/hiking trails. Enjoy the day hiking followed by a rest along the banks of the Oconto River.
There is no cost of admission to the park. Attractions include the Copper Culture Museum and a walking trail with historical and nature signs.
Farnsworth Public Library
715 Main Street, Oconto, WIFarnsworth Public Library was opened to the public in 1903. We have books, CD’s, DVD’s, free WIFI, meeting rooms, videogames, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, and 5 public computers.
Movies in the Park
400 Holtwood Way, Oconto, WICome enjoy a night of laugher with friends and neighbors at the Oconto Movies in the Park at Holtwood Park. Participants should bring their favorite lawn chairs or blankets and kick back and relax. It’s free for everyone! The movies are family appropriate.
Oconto Marsh
County Y, Oconto, WIThe Oconto Marsh Unit consists of approximately 928 acres and is located one mile northeast of Oconto along County Road Y north almost to County Road A in Oconto County. There is one parking lot along County Road Y at the southern end of the property. A 220-acre impoundment maintains an emergent marsh on the south end of the property. This impoundment is surrounded by sedge meadows and shrub-carr habitats in the coastal wetlands of Green Bay. There are areas of lowland forest interspersed with wet openings found along the edges of the coastal wetland and areas of aspen/oak woodlands on the northern end of the unit.
Oconto River

With three area launching facilities located throughout the city, you’ll be sure to find the right one for you and your family. Water rentals are available at Holtwood Campground.

The Good Place

The Ruins Adventure Mini Golf
150 Howard Lane, Oconto, WIMiniature golf is no longer child’s play. Whether you’re young or simply young at heart, miniature golf is all about the fun! Waterfalls, splash fountains, ponds, streams and undulating greens create thrills and laughs for golfers of all ages. The Ruins Adventure Mini Golf course is fairly large at 27,000 sq. ft. Start off by putting around the Mayan ballcourt circle on our practice green. And the kids love the iguana that sits on top! The facility and course was designed to be wheelchair friendly, with the 9 outer holes meeting ADA requirements and level or ramped areas to the deck.
The Shop on Main
821 Main Street, Oconto, WIMeet a friend for a cup of coffee, tea or an ice cream cone at Oconto’s newest coffee shop. The Shop on Main serves Stone Creek Coffee and Piper & Leaf artisan loose leaf tea, plus bakery favorites and eight creamy flavors of Ashby’s Sterling ice cream. The Shop’s vintage industrial theme accentuates the rich history of the 1930-era building once used as an Oldsmobile dealership. The Shop on Main, located across from Crivello’s, is open from 7am to 7pm Tuesday through Saturday. Monday 7am-2pm. Outdoor seating is available in season.
